We have 22 injection moulding machines ranging from 40 to 300 tons. We specialize in technical products made from engineering resins. Duramould is a supplier in the telecommunication, electrical, electronics and industrial markets.
We specialize in manufacturing precision moulds for plastics–specifically, technical products made from engineering resins. In addition to our injection moulding capabilities, we offer a wide range of specialty services that encompass tool design and engineering, assembly and finishing. We are a one-stop shop for moulding of plastic parts and products, providing our client support from product design to production and shipping. Our team can take on projects of varying sizes and level of complexity–we aim to provide customized solutions to meet our clients’ specific needs. Our reputation has grown beyond Canada, and we export products to meet the international demand for our services.
Our facility, located in Whitby, ON, has 22 injection moulding machines that range in size from 40 to 300 tonnes. Our machinery allows us to perform complex part moulding processes, such as insert moulding and second shot moulding. Our largest presses can produce a combined part area capacity of up to 650-800 cm2 (100-125 in2), depending on the part configuration. Our smaller presses can produce fine parts with exacting detail. We have and develop equipment to perform specialty services such as pad printing, hot stamping, heat staking, machining and assembly. Our technicians manufacture tooling and create custom moulds that fulfill unique requirements. We perform all aspects of plastics manufacturing processes in-house to ensure the quality and durability of your products.
